Jeff R. Layfield, Esq.

Jeff is certified as a Specialist in Family Law by The State Bar of California Board of Legal Specialization with over 16 years of experience as a family law attorney.

Jeff serves a Temporary Judge in the Family Law Division of the Los Angeles Superior Court.

While in law school, Jeff served as an extern for Commissioner Gretchen Taylor (Ret.), of the Los Angeles Superior Court, Family Law Division.

Jeff has extensive litigation experience in family law having successfully represented hundreds of clients in all aspects of family law including high net worth cases involving child support, spousal support, property division, complex financial matters and child custody and visitation.

Jeff has published numerous articles on property division, child support and fiduciary duty.

Jeff has memberships and affiliations with the Los Angeles County Bar Association Family Law Section, San Gabriel Valley Bar Association and the Family Law Section of the California Bar Association.

Jeff earned his undergraduate degree in Business Administration from San Diego State University, and a law degree from Southwestern Law School.
