Sonrisa Jones

Sonrisa is a Virginia native although having lived overseas and in several states due to parents with military background. She graduated from Georgia State University with a BA in Political Science and concentration in Pre-Law. While at GSU, Sonrisa served on the executive board for the undergraduate chapter of the National Black Law Student Association, where she began developing her legal career and devoting numerous hours providing community service and working alongside other minority aspiring attorneys.

Sonrisa earned her paralegal certification from the University of San Diego before relocating to Los Angeles in 2021 where she recognized her passion for family and juvenile law while working in dependency court as a paralegal.

Before joining the ModerBerman, Sonrisa worked at various boutique firms practicing primarily civil litigation, entertainment and some transactional law. Sonrisa’s widespread background in different legal fields allows for insightful input in every aspect of daily family law matters.

In her spare time, she enjoys painting, hiking and traveling.
