Ethan B. Tidwell

Ethan B. Tidwell is an associate attorney with Moder Berman, LLP. Mr. Tidwell has a track record of successfully representing clients in a wide variety of complex, high-conflict family law matters throughout California. In addition, Mr. Tidwell has extensive experience negotiating and drafting prenuptial and postnuptial agreements.

Prior to joining Moder Berman, Mr. Tidwell served as the managing attorney of a boutique family law firm located in Century City, where he regularly served as lead counsel in trials, evidentiary hearings, and settlement conferences before public and private judicial officers. Mr. Tidwell’s practice emphasizes strategic negotiation and settlement whenever possible while remaining prepared to litigate when necessary to protect his clients’ interests.

Before entering private practice, Mr. Tidwell served as a legal research attorney for the Family Law Division of the Los Angeles Superior Court, where he worked closely with judicial officers on a broad range of complex family law matters.

Mr. Tidwell earned his Juris Doctor from Loyola Law School in Los Angeles, where he received First Honors in Commercial Law and was named to the Dean’s List. He earned his Bachelor of Arts in International Affairs from Florida State University.

Mr. Tidwell has been recognized for outstanding work in the practice of family law, including being named to the Southern California Super Lawyers Rising Stars list for 2024 through 2027 and Los Angeles Magazine’s Best of L.A. Legal list for 2026.

He is a member of the Los Angeles County Bar Association, Beverly Hills Bar Association, and San Fernando Valley Bar Association.
